4.6. TDesignator

The CBOLD framework uses TDesignator to represent designators (and thereby also symbolic names ) as well as reference designators.

TDesignator is essentially a wrapper for the following information: A base string, a name string, and a number.

Reference designators use the information as described in the Reference Designators section.

Designators and symbolic names do not use the base string and use the name and number as described in the glossary links above.
